ANGA Cable 2009 was held from May, 26th to 28th in Cologne, Germany. The exhibition attracted 380 exhibitors coming from 33 countries. Number of visitors increased to 13,600 for the first time, which is a new record.

SMiT launched the new concept-SECURE PLUS CAM during the show. This new CAM can support ADVANCED CA features as well as CI+ standard, ensuring the full security during the transport stream between the CAM and the smart card, as well as the CAM and the host.

The Irdeto CI+ EPG CAM, which was developed in collaboration with Irdeto, also showed up in the exhibition. It gained much attention and approbation from SMiT partners.

What’s more, our new showcase of Media Box is another highlight for Anga, of which all functionalities achieve the leading level in the filed, and is made ready for the approaching of new global media era.

Besides traditional set-top-box features, SMiT- Media Box also have the outstanding performance in the media-player, audio & video file management as well as networking sharing. The display attracted a large number of eyeballs, and our DTV product line is tending towards another milestone for high end.
