The world LEADING CAM supplier SMIT attends IBC2010 at the RAI, Amsterdam from 10th-14th, September. This yearly broadcast industry’s LEADING event has attracted over 4,800 visitors and 1300 visitors to enjoy the latest innovation and technology in the broadcasting industry.

提交SMIT’s exhibiting subject this year is “ SECURE PLUS CAM & PAY-TV DONGLE”. The flower designed “CAM WALL” was highly admired by the visitors. It exhibits SMIT’s Secure-Plus CAM, Secure CAM, Consumer CAM and Professional CAM, among which a lot of operator customized CAMs. With the booming up of HD and high-value programs, more and more operators choose CI+ systems to protect their contents. SMIT has successfully launched Irdeto and NDS CI+ CAMs into the MARKET and will launch Conax and Viaccess CI+ CAMs shortly.

The CI+ VOD CAM has won great interests from operators in different areas. SMIT together with SeaChange & Eventis show the live VOD CAM live demo at IBC successfully. This VOD solution enables the viewers to choose their favorite programs through CI+ iDTV & CI+ CAMs. It can also help operators to expand their pay-tv services and improve customers’ viewing experience.提交

SMIT also shows its latest Pay-TV PC Dongle. This small PC Dongle enables the customers watch pay-TV services with their laptop anywhere at any time. It will first be launched in Germany and Nordic areas this year end within the scope of a friendly customer trial and will be available to a larger customer base at the beginning of 2011.提交 

SMIT’s new PVR CAM is another “Fresh Blood” in the DTV industry. This new PVR function embedded in a CAM can display time-shift easily on an iDTV. This new CAM feature is warmly welcome by the end users.
